GDS Lamp Receives Exciting New Features

GDS is pleased to announce the latest evolution of its GDS Lamp range, introducing new functionality and enhanced performance designed to meet the growing demands of architectural, heritage, and theatrical lighting applications.

Building on the success of the original product, the updated GDS Lamp continues to deliver the visual warmth and sparkle of traditional tungsten sources, while introducing new configuration options, improved control flexibility, and advanced system integration via GDS IPM technology.

Expanding Creative Control

The updated GDS Lamp now offers five configurable operating personalities, providing designers and integrators with greater control and adaptability across a wide range of installations. These include fade-to-warm operation for authentic tungsten simulation, fixed colour temperature modes, tunable dual-channel control, and advanced candle flicker effects with adjustable volatility.

This expanded functionality allows the lamp to seamlessly transition between decorative ambience, theatrical applications, and architectural installations, all from a single product platform. The lamp supports configurable colour temperature between 1800K and 3000K, ensuring accurate replication of warm incandescent sources while maintaining exceptional colour rendering performance.
